Dan Murphy, the Photographer is the Treasure Valley’s most prolific and versatile photographer because of his four decades of professional experience serving thousands of satisfied clients.  Dan started his career as a photojournalist, working for newspapers, magazines and covering many county fairs and festivals as their official photographer.  In the mid 1980s, Dan embarked on a studio photographer venture where he created special memorable portraits, weddings, sports, and companies’ special events.   Covering every imaginable and conceivable assignment for newspapers, magazines, government entities and for thousands of clients is a testament to Dan’s professional experience.  Dan is always available to consult with future clients.

In addition to creating memorable photographs, Dan has taught photography at the adult education, high school and the community college level.  Volunteering his time and photography for many charitable events, including Melanoma Research, Special Olympics, an abused children’s shelter, a senior citizen’s camera club and many others is another important and meaningful aspect of giving back to the community that Dan is so grateful for.
